• Native to South America, these slow growing cacti are also known to be ruby ball cactus or red cap cactus. They got the name Gymnocalycium due to its colorful red top, which also refers to the flower buds that bears no hair or spines. Well, the lower green cactus could be of any varieties (mainly are Hylocereus cactus). Their main job is to display Gymnocalycium at its advantageous height.
