Panda Plant (Kalanchoe tomentosa) is a high valued indoor plant.
- It’s a hardy succulent indoor plant, native originated to Madagascar. Panda Plant (Kalanchoe tomentosa) could be considered perfect as container plants, as due to small size and unique appearance. These plants grow up to 60.96 cm in height and same, around for width too. Their distinct appearance includes fuzzy or velvety pale-green leaves, covered with white-silvery hairs, looks alike rabbit’s ear with brown coloured stitch along tips and edges. These Panda plants, Kalanchoe tomentosa also flowers, adding beauty to indoor space, this happens especially during summer. These flowers emerge in the form of clusters with yellow-green colour, and dark brown petal tips. All inclusively they are best as indoor plants, making themselves useful at bed and borders and Mediterranean gardens, etc.

- These succulent plants love bright light and sunlight. A mixture of direct, indirect and bright light and shade is a good balance of sunlight. At least 4 to 6 hours of sunlight daily is a must. Water them only if you find topsoil dry. Don’t let the bottom tray be left with water. And during winter water them less. Even if you forgot to give them water at once, they are forgiving. The soil on which they are supposed to be planted must be well-drained and must be cacti-succulent potting mix. Ideal temperature for their healthy growth is 15 – 23 degree Celsius. In terms of feeding, use diluted fertilizer once every 4 weeks especially from spring to the end of summer.
It’s not a Pet-friendly plant.
