- Kalanchoe plant prefers direct and indirect shades to survive. And to push re-blooming, indirect light is more preferred for at least a certain period of time. As its succulent could hold water within its leaves. So, there’s no need to keep the soil damp all the time. When they require watering it’s a good idea to get them plenty of it and then allow the soil to become dry again. When grown outside the plant thrives in most soils. And when grown indoors a good potting mix that drains well will be enough. Preferable temperature is 18.3 – 23.8 degrees Celsius, but not less than 10 degrees Celsius. And avoid frost in any case while keeping them outside. It’s a very easy plant to take care of, due to the property of being tolerant to high range temperatures, humidity, small period droughts. And in terms of feeding, use diluted fertilizers that must be used once a month during spring to end of the summer season.
It’s not a Pet-friendly plant.
