This is the most popular plant species among Schefflera plants. Also known as the Dwarf Umbrella Tree. It’s an easy to care plant.
Schefflera arboricola are unique ornamental plants with beautiful foliage. They are easy to care for plants and are also helpful in cleaning the surrounding air. Also known as Parasol plant, it has green, glossy palm-like leaves, oval shaped with irregular splashes of golden-yellow and pale green variegation. These are fast growing, but readily trimmed, making them adaptable even in small size. Could be displayed on a table as a tall specimen floor plant.
Dwarf Umbrella Tree Care:
Sunlight: Basic bright light condition, not direct sunlight.
Watering: Water once the top soil feels dry. Do not over water.
Soil: Pot mix containing 2 parts peat moss and 1-part perlite would be an ideal. Well-drained.
Temperature: Grows well between 15 – 24 degree Celsius, but could not tolerate less than 13-degree Celsius.
Fertilizer: Use diluted fertilizer once a month from spring – fall.
