Pennisetum Alopecuroides (Chinese Fountain grass) is a high valued ornamental Grass.

• With its native to Asia and Australia, Pennisetum Alopecuroides Aka Chinese Fountain grass are among the most graceful ornamental grasses that are treasured with cascading foliage that easily rustles with the wind. These grasses grow up to 60 – 90cm in length with mounds of dark green foliage turning to beige during fall. They blossom from the start of Summer or from early fall with formation of fluffy, bottlebrush- like flowers on top of the foliage, resembling foxtails. These Chinese Fountain grass is very easy to grow and will give excellent look to your outdoor landscapes, or gardening besides ponds or streams getting them naturalistic meadows.

Chinese Fountain grass requires low maintenance and is easy to care.

• They thrive in the presence of full sunlight and could survive  partial shade. Water low. Drought tolerant once grass is well established. The soil on which they are supposed to be planted or placed must be well-drained. Ideal temperature for their healthy growth is 20 to 35 degree Celsius. In terms of feeding, use any organic fertilizers.
