Succulent Soil Mix
Succulents are those plants which have thick leaves and stems compared to other plants. These parts are often fleshy and contain water. Most of the Succulent plants are grown in drylands with the scarcity of water. They grow in places with high temperature and low rainfall. So they store the water required for growth in the fleshy parts. They will be used in the surrounding area where the growing soil has minimal water holding capacity. So they need a certain type of potting soil which is appropriate for the growth of such plants. In order to provide potting soil suitable for succulent plants, we have introduced Succulent and Cactus Potting Soil Mix. This soil is more porous which in turn provides better drainage. This 3 ingredient succulent potting mix recipe uses 3 parts potting soil, 2 parts coarse sand (turface or poultry grit), and 1 part perlite (or pumice). It is inexpensive, easy to make, and the best soil for succulents.
